Parlais

Parlais, also Paralais (Greek Παραλαίς ) was ( expected later Pisidia ) an ancient and Byzantine city in Asia Minor landscape Lycaonia. Their position is not clearly localized.

The city coined in the late Hellenistic period ( 1st century BC) own coin and then again in the 2nd and 3rd centuries, when it was under the name Iulia Augusta Parlais Roman colony.

In late antiquity was Parlais seat of a bishop. In the Diocese of the titular Parlais the Roman Catholic Church is declining.
