Parliament of Jordan
The Jordanian parliament called Majlis al - Umma / مجلس الأمة / Maǧlis al - Umma /, National Assembly ', consists of two chambers.
- The Representative Assembly (Jordan) / مجلس النواب / Maǧlis to - Nuwwāb /, Representative Assembly ' has 110 deputies. Of these, 104 members are elected for four years. Six seats are reserved for women who are determined in a special election. Nine of the seats in the Chamber are Christians and three seats are reserved for Chechens and Circassians.
- The Senate (Jordan) / مجلس الأعيان / Maǧlis al -A ʿ yan /, Senate ' has 40 deputies, who are appointed by the Jordanian king.
