Parliament of the Bahamas

The House of Assembly ( German: meeting house ) is the lower house in the bicameral legislature of the Bahamas.

It is made since the 2012 election of 38 deputies, until then, there were 41 deputies who are elected for five years by a majority electoral system. The lower house is located in the capital, Nassau. The last elections for the House of Assembly were held on May 7, 2012.
