Parliament Street, Exeter

Parliament Street (English Parliament Street ) is the name of a 50 -meter-long street in the southern English city of Exeter. It connects with the Water Beer Lane since the 14th century, the High Street. Got its name the alley, when the City Council so that the law Reform Act 1832 scoffed.

Originally called the Small Lane Road, which roughly means little alley. The name was an obvious choice, since it was at 1.20 meters at its widest point and less than 64 centimeters at the narrowest point, according to the Guinness Book of World Records to 2007, the narrowest street in the world.
