Parlick

The Parlick in the Forest of Bowland

Parlick is a mountain in the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire, England. The mountain to the viewer from the south and west appears cone-shaped, it has an overall height of 432 m but only a saddle height of 32 m, for he is a mountain in a series of mountains that run through the Forest of Bowland and from which it protrudes.

The Parlick is connected to a ridge with the Fair Snape Fell.

The boundary between the Borough of Wyre and the Ribble Valley runs across the top of the mountain and separates it into two approximately equal halves.

The River Loud is created at the southern foot of the Parlick.
