Parmenides Foundation

The Parmenides Foundation is a co-operating with the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich institution for research, teaching and development. Your goal is to push forward the multidisciplinary exploration of human thought. It is named after Parmenides of Elea, a Greek philosopher. It was founded by the philosopher Albrecht von Müller in 2000. Pullach your seat.

At the University of Munich, the Parmenides Foundation offers a range of courses on the subject of thinking. In the research area is working closely with scientists from the institutes of medical psychology, developmental psychology and philosophy at the University of Munich.

The object of the Parmenides Foundation and its research institute Parmenides Center for the Study of Thinking, is the interdisciplinary study of the ability of complex thought in collaboration of leading scientists in neuroscience and philosophy, neuro computer science and cognitive psychology, linguistics, and evolutionary anthropology.

In addition, the Parmenides Foundation sold the " EIDOS Suite", formerly known as the Think Tools Suite of Think Tools AG.
