Parnon Mountains (Greek Parnonas Πάρνωνας ) is a mountain range in the southeast of the Greek Peloponnese peninsula. It extends over a length of about 60 km in the direction NW- SSO. Its highest point is 1940 m, the Megali Tourla. The south-western part of this mountain range is located in the prefecture of Laconia, the northeastern prefecture of Arcadia. A part of the boundary between these two prefectures runs on the crest of Parnon.

The mountain lies to the east of the Laconian plain and Evrotas valley. The part east of the ridge drops off towards the Gulf of Argolis. In the east-west direction (perpendicular to the main ridge ) it measures 15 to 25 km. In the south-southeast sits down the mountain - after a small slump basin not far from Sparta - a further 30 km in the form of low, parallel chains Karst and ends in Cape Kremidi on the Aegean Sea.

The predominant rock type is limestone. In Parnon Mountains are located to the Peleta the Cave (2006 ) with 543 m fifth deepest cave of Greece and the 360 m deep vertical cave Propantes.
