Paros (regional unit)
The Regional District of Paros (Greek Periferiaki Enotita Parou Περιφερειακή Ενότητα Πάρου ) is one of 13 regional districts of the Greek region South Aegean. It was formed on the occasion of the administrative reform in 2010 of two island communities of the former Cyclades Prefecture. Proportional to its 14,926 inhabitants sent to the field two MPs in the regional, but has no more political significance than local authority. It is divided into the two municipalities of Antiparos and Paros.
