Parre

Parr is a northern Italian municipality ( comune ) with 2787 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012) in the province of Brescia, in Lombardy. 928 the village was first mentioned in documents as Villa de Parr. The village lies about 30 kilometers northeast of Bergamo at the edge of the Bergamo Alps. A few kilometers to the east flows the Serio, so Parr is also part of the Seriana.

A culinary specialty is the Scarpinocc, a ravioli dish with cheese, egg and butter.
