Partners Group

The Partners Group Holding AG, based in Baar ZG is a company specializing in private equity, international Swiss asset management company. The company employs over 550 people with assets of more than EUR 25 billion in private equity, mezzanine, private real estate and private infrastructure. The Partners Group Holding is listed on the Swiss Exchange SIX Swiss Exchange, where all employees and partners hold about two- thirds of the shares in the company.

History

The firm was founded in January 1996. In the years 1999 and 2000, the company opened its first foreign branch offices in Guernsey and New York, where in 2004 the offices in London and Singapore, 2007 in San Francisco and Tokyo, 2008 in Sydney, Luxembourg and Beijing, 2010 in Dubai, Seoul and Munich, and in 2011 São Paulo and Paris followed.

With the acquisition of the Swiss Alternative Investment Strategies Group Ltd., a company founded by members of the former hedge fund team at Credit Suisse Asset Management in Zurich hedge fund company, took place in 2001 the entry into the hedge fund business.

In March 2006, the company went through an IPO on the stock exchange.

In 2007, Partners Group's acquisition of the discretionary management of the U.S. working in the field Private Real Estate Asset Management U.S. Pension Consulting Alliance, Inc. (PCA ) is known.

In 2007, the hedge fund business was shut down by the strategic focus on the exclusive operation of private markets. Early 2010 's managed account platform of Partners Group and Sciens Capital Management has been sold.

In mid-September 2011, Partners Group Holding AG part of the Swiss Small & Mid Cap Index ( SMIM Index), which comprises the 50 largest listed companies in Switzerland. On 30 November 2011, the recording of Partners Group Holding AG in the MSCI Switzerland Index followed.
