Party of Labour (Serbia)

The Partija rada (PR, German: Party of Labour; Serbian also Партија Рада ) is a communist party in Serbia. The social ultimate goal of the party is defined as " the abolition of all oppression " of communism - according to its own interpretation with a " community of free people." To achieve this goal, the party pursued as a transitional stage there after the establishment of the dictatorship of the proletariat on a world scale by the " international socialist revolution."

The party was founded in 1992 by Vlado Dapčević, as a splinter group of the Communist Party of Yugoslavia was founded in 1990.

The Partija rada is a member of the Balkan Conference of Communist and Workers' Parties ( BCCWP ) and a founding member of the International Coordination of Revolutionary Parties and Organizations ( ICOR ), an association of communist parties of different ideological and political orientation.
