Music Video

The music video for Party Rock Anthem was under the choreographic direction of Quest Crew. The plot shows a strong resemblance to the movie 28 Days Later and is therefore often regarded as an allusion to this film and as a parody of this film. In the introduction explains in red text that the two band members RedFoo and Sky Blu on March 1 as a result of too much party ( in the original: ... after excessive party rocking, to German after excessive party rocking ) fell into a coma. Furthermore, we learn that their single Party Rock Anthem the next day, March 2, appears. The subsequent image title shows the message " 28 Days Later ".

After the opening credits, the video shows an abandoned hospital in which RedFoo and Sky Blu wake from its 28-day coma. Outside the hospital, they find a deserted road. Shortly afterwards, an unidentified man dances to Party Rock Anthem along the road, but shows despite an explicit gesture of RedFoo ( in the original: ? Hey, you What the hell went on with the people, man) no consideration for the two. Surprisingly, she grabs a second man from behind by the shoulders and drags it behind one of the many car wrecks that fill the entire street. The dark-skinned man makes it clear to them that the whole world just makes more Party or " shuffelt " according to him all day. When suddenly heard the beginning of Party Rock Anthem, he asked the two to use earplugs to avoid being washed away by the wave fun-loving party freaks. For the time being deserted street gradually fills and a man proclaims loudly the words "Party Rock." A man in a hooded sweater wants to flee from the dancing ground, but is surrounded by people and "infected" like in the movie, with his clothes from one second to the next to a T - shirt that says "Hi, Mom! " changes. Also RedFoo and Sky Blu are infected by the " dance madness " and begin to dance, while the man escapes with the earplugs and disappears from the image.

The rest of the video shows LMFAO and specially selected dancers in performing a complex choreography. In the middle of the song, the video is interrupted for two seconds, then RedFoo and Sky Blu set with the words " Everyday I'm shufflin ' " continued the song. At the end of the video, the duo will be shown in a dark alley with GoonRock and Lauren Bennett, whose part in the song immediately follows. GoonRock sings only the chorus, in which case his voice is not to hear individually. The video ends with a guy, the " shuffle ends " behind a sketchy man represented the magazine " Everyday I'm shufflin ' " in capital letters and shows without word division or punctuation. Almost all dancers or occurring in the video are wearing specially created for the video clothes, to which mainly T -shirts reading " Party Rock Anthem ", " GoonRock " and " Everyday I'm shufflin ' " belong.
