Pascal Borel

Pascal Borel ( born September 26, 1978 in Karlsruhe ) is a German football player.

Career

Borel grew up in Stutensee- Friedrichstal, where he began his football career. Borel, the goalkeeper was from the 1998/99 season to the 2004/05 season in the services of Werder Bremen. He moved frequently between the Bundesliga and the Regional team back and forth. He previously played for SV Waldhof Mannheim and FC Germania Friedrichstal. One of the greatest successes of the Badeners counts of winning the German Championship in 2004 and winning the DFB Cup with Werder Bremen in the years 1999 and 2004. For the 2005/ 06 season Borel switched to the second division LR Ahlen. In the 2007 /08 season he was in Budapest Honvéd under contract, after the end of the season his contract was not renewed. In March 2009, it piloted Fredi Bobic as the new Managing Director for FC Chernomorets Burgas, because their goalkeeper failed with an injury longer. He stopped at the Black Sea coast to the summer break of 2011, when he moved to the German third division RB Leipzig.

Before the start of the 2012/13 season Borel was 12 July 2012, exempted by the new sporting director of RB Leipzig, Ralf Rangnick, since the association no longer planned with him.
