Pascal Witmeur
Pascal Witmeur ( born April 1, 1955 in Etterbeek ) is a Belgian former racing driver.
Career in motorsports
Pascal Witmeur began his motorsport career in Monopostosport. End of the 1970s he went to the British Formula 3 Championship in 1979 and played on a March 772 and a scoring run of the Aurora AFX Formula 1 series. In Monopostosport the Belgians could never grasp right foot, so he was soon driving parallel sports car racing.
For now, he was mainly in domestic races, such as the 24 - hour race at Spa -Francorchamps and the 1000 km race on the same track at the start. In 1982 he made his debut at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. As a partner of Christian Bussi and Bernard de Dryver he finished the race on a Rondeau M382 as the 15th overall. His best finish in this 24 -hour race was the eleventh place overall in 1984 the 24-hour race in Spa he went once -. 1999 - in third place on the podium of the first three. His partners were Bas Leinders and Jeffrey Van Hooydonk, the racing car, a Peugeot 306 GTi.
Witmeur drove to the end of the 2002 season car racing and won the 1991, the Appreciation of the Belgian Touring Car Championship.
