Pascale di Cagliari

Pascale di Cagliari is an indigenous red grape variety in Sardinia. It is used mostly for blending with other grapes in Sardinian DOC wines, in a number of Sardinian red wines it is contained in a proportion of up to 15 percent. In Sardinia, this vine is with 3,159 hectares of land in fourth place. Pascale di Cagliari is a variety of the noble vine (Vitis vinifera ). It has hermaphrodite flowers and is thus self- fruiting. When the wine-growing economic drawback is avoided, no return delivered to male plants need to grow.
