Pasig

Pasig City ( officially: City of Pasig, Filipino: Lungsod ng Pasig ) is one of the cities in the Philippine capital region Metro Manila. In 2007 lived in Pasig City 617 301 people at 31 km ².

The town was founded in 1573. Before the creation of Metro Manila in 1975 Pasig City was the capital of Rizal province, founded in 1901.
