Pasquale Amato ( born March 21, 1878 in Naples, † August 12, 1942 in Jackson Heights ) was an Italian singer in the register of the baritone.

Life

Amato was born as the five year old Enrico Caruso in Naples, where he was trained by Beniamino Carelli and Vincenzo Lombardo at the Conservatory of San Pietro a Majella. 1899 Amato debuted with 21 years as Germont in La traviata at the Teatro Bellini di Napoli.
