Pasquale Camerlengo

Pasquale Camerlengo ( born April 14, 1966 in Milan, Lombardy ) is an Italian former figure skater, who started ice dancing. He now works as a coach and choreographer.

Camerlengos first Eistanzparterin was Stefania Calegari. With it, he was in 1989 and 1991 to 1993 by Italian masters. The ice dance took in the period from 1986 to 1993 seven European championships and six world championships. Her best they reached in 1992, when they were both at the European Championships as well as at the World Championships in fourth. In the same year Camerlengo and Calegari denied in Albertville their single Olympics. They finished in fifth place. 1993 separated the ice dance.

Camerlengo tried again on the side of Diane Gerencser, took her part in the European Championships in 1997 and 1998, the 1998 World Cup and the 1998 Olympics, but failed to reach the front ranks.

After ending his competitive career Camerlengo began on the side of Anschelika Krylova as a coach and choreographer to work in Detroit. He is one of the most prolific and sought-after choreographers today. His students include, among others Federica Faiella & Massimo Scali and Kaitlyn Weaver & Andrew Poje. Camerlengo choreographed et al Programs for Marie -France Dubreuil & Patrice Lauzon, Isabelle Delobel & Olivier Schoenfelder, Jessica Dubé & Bryce Davison, Stanick Jeannette, Jeremy Abbott, Daisuke Takahashi, Alissa Czisny, Tomáš Verner and Michal Brezina.

Camerlengo and Krylova are married and have two children.
