Pastiche

A pastiche (of Italian pasticcio " pie ") is an artistic work of literary, musical, filmic or architectural style, the open imitates the work of a previous artist. The type of imitation can be characterized by either respect or of satire. Is this pastiche of respect embossed, one speaks of a tribute. Is it marked by satire, one speaks of a parody. In many cases, however, the pastiche is simply a quote from a well-known work.
