Pat Burke

Patrick " Pat" Burke ( born December 14, 1973 in Dublin, Ireland ) is a former Irish professional basketball player who played at a height of 2.11 m on the position of the center

He began his career Pat Burke, who had already gone to the United States for high school at Auburn University in Alabama, where he played until 1997. In the summer of the same year Burke joined the Spanish side TAU Ceramica where he stayed for one season. In 1998 he moved to the reigning Greek champions Panathinaikos Athens where he was for three years under contract. With Panathinaikos Burke won the first professional title of his career. In addition to three championships he won in 2000 and the European Cup of Champions. A year later he was again with Panathinaikos in the finals of a European competition, Suproleague, but it lost to his team Maccabi Tel Aviv. After another year at Marousi Athens, he moved for the first time in the NBA Orlando Magic. When the team from Florida Burke maintained 62 games and average 4.3 points and 2.4 rebounds. In 2003 he returned to Europe and played first for CB Gran Canaria, before he moved to Real Madrid in 2004 and was able to win the Spanish championship. He subsequently worked for the Phoenix Suns and BK Khimki, where he won the Russian Cup, joined Burke 2008 ULEB Euro Polish Prokom Trefl Sopot League participants, with which he defended the Polish Championship.
