Pat Calathes

Patrick Sean " Pat" Calathes (Greek Pat Kalathis Πατ Καλάθης, born December 12, 1985 in Casselberry, United States) is a Greek- American professional basketball player.

Career

His career began Calathes, 2007 at the Saint Joseph's University, where he played for two years at the Saint Joseph's Hawks and 2008 participated in the NCAA Men 's Division I Basketball Championship. In summer 2008, Calathes signed his first professional contract and moved to the A1 Ethniki of the Greek first division GS Marousi. In 63 Premier League matches Calathes posted 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds on average. In 2010 he moved early to league rivals Colossus of Rhodes, where he rose to become a regular player and was able to increase his stats significantly ( 14.3 points and 8.1 rebounds per game). In the 2011/12 season he was the Greek giants Panathinaikos Athens under contract and won the Greek Cup club there. In the 2012/13 season he won the Israeli Championship with Maccabi Haifa. For the 2013/14 season he signed a contract with BK Astana.

National

2011 debuted Calathes at the Greek national basketball team and took for them to prepare for the European Championship 2011 in Lithuania in part.
