Pat Oliphant

Patrick Bruce " Pat" Oliphant ( born July 24, 1935 in Adelaide, Australia) is a political cartoonist. Oliphant's trademark is a small penguin named Punk, who frequently appears on the screen of his caricatures and add a comment to the events.

Born in Australia in 1964 emigrated to the U.S. and quickly became a celebrated cartoonist. His publications include in the daily newspapers The Denver Post and The Washington Star during his 50 -year career, countless current political drawings and many books. Oliphant's work has been repeatedly criticized, including by the American -Arab Anti- Discrimination Committee and the Simon Wiesenthal Center.
