Patapédia River

The Rivière Patapédia (English Patapedia River) is a left tributary of the Restigouche River ( Rivière Ristigouche ) in the Canadian provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick ( Nouveau - Brunswick).

It has its origin in the mountain range located in Quebec Monts Notre -Dame in Lac Long. From there it flows in a southeasterly direction. Here it flows through the lakes Lac des Chasseurs and Lac Patapédia. Later, the tributaries Rivière Patapédia Est and Rivière Meadow open the left side into the river. The last 30 km to its confluence with the Restigouche River, the river Rivière Patapédia forms the border between Quebec and New Brunswick. The river length is about 80 km.
