Geographical Location

Patersdorf lies the Bavarian Forest 11 and 85 about 11 km southeast of Viechtach, 22 km north of Deggendorf, 13 km north-west of the middle of the nature park directly at the intersection of the main roads of the district town rain and 23 km from Zwiesel in the Donau -Wald in Teisnachtal. History

Patersdorf belonged to Rentamt Straubing and Regional Court Viechtach.

The current municipal area may have been inhabited around the 8th and 9th centuries. The main evidence used the place names on -dorf, which are typical for this clearing time.
