Pathum Ratchawongsa District

Amphoe Pathum Ratchawongsa ( Thai: อำเภอ ปทุม ราช วงศา ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the east of the province of Amnat Charoen. The Amnat Charoen province is located in the eastern part of the northeast region of Thailand, the so-called Isaan.

Geography

Adjacent Amphoe are counted from the south: the Amphoe Phana, Mueang Amnat Charoen province Amnat Charoen and Chanuman and Khemarat Amphoe Kut Khaopun and Trakan Phuet Phon in Ubon Ratchathani province.

History

Amphoe Pathum Ratchawongsa was established on 2 July 1993 by the three tambon Phon Kham Nong Kha and Na Wa from Amphoe Chanuman, the Tambon Huai Lue and from Amphoe Phana and Tambon Non Ngam Mueang Amnat Charoen from Amphoe separated and were merged.
