Patience Island

Patience Iceland is an island in Narragansett Bay in the U.S. state of Rhode Iceland. It covers an area of ​​almost 0.9 square kilometers, which is mainly passed with bushes and partly with trees.

The wedge-shaped island is uninhabited, and also to achieve with no ferry, but open to the public. From about 1650 until the early 20th century, most of the island was used as a farm. The eastern neighboring island of Prudence Iceland is less than 300 meters away. The administration of the island is subject to the U.S. National Estuarine Research Reserve System.
