F The Patkai Mountains is a mountain range on the border between India and Myanmar ( Burma) and forms one of the south-eastern foothills of the Himalayas. Over the crest of the ridge runs partly the border between India and Myanmar. South of the Patkai Mountains, the Arakan Yoma mountain range joins.

The mountains of Patkai partly reach altitudes above 3000 m. The highest peaks include Sara Mati ( 3,826 m), Mol Len ( 3,088 m) and Japvo ( 3,014 m). The mountains are mostly forested with pine and teak.
