Patria Jiménez

Elsa Patria Jiménez Flores ( born 1957 in San Luis Potosi, Mexico) is a Mexican politician.

Since the parliamentary elections of 1997 Jiménez is the first openly gay MPs in the Mexican parliament. You heard a politician of the party Partido de la Revolución Democrática at ( PRD). Jiménez is the chairman of the Mexican LGBT organization El Closet de Sor Juana. The organization is registered as an NGO organization at the UN. The name of the LGT - organization is reminiscent of the Catholic nun and poet Juana Inés de la Cruz.
