Patrice Lauzon

Patrice Lauzon (* November 26, 1975 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a former Canadian figure skater, who started ice dancing.

Lauzon originally took figure skating lessons to improve his skating skills in hockey. At the age of twelve he came to ice dancing. His first Eistanzpartnerin was Chantal Lefebvre.

In 1995, Marie -France Dubreuil Lauzons Eistanzpartnerin. In 2000, they were the first time Canadian champion and then debuted at the Four Continents Championships, where she won the silver medal at first. Your World Cup debut ended a little later in tenth place. At Four Continents Championships Dubreuil and Lauzon won three more medals. In 2001 they won bronze, silver in 2004 and 2007, finally the gold medal. At the World Championships, they won their only medals in 2006 and 2007 when they were runners-up behind the Bulgarians Albena and Maxim Denkowa Stawiski. Twice took the five-time Canadian champion part in Winter Olympics. 2002 and 2006 were Twelfth they had to withdraw because Dubreuil was overthrown in a lifting figure at the end of the original dance.

On 20 May 2008 Dubreuil and Lauzon announced her retirement from competitive sport. In August 2008 they were married.
