Patricia Blair

Patricia Blair ( born January 15, 1933, Fort Worth, Texas as Patsy Lou Blake, † September 9, 2013 in North Wildwood, New Jersey) was an American actress.

Life

Blair grew up in Dallas and worked as a model until she got a film contract with Warner Brothers. Her film debut was in David Butler's war film Hell of Dien Bien Phu alongside Peter van Eyck. Other supporting roles they had on the side of Julie London in film noir Crime Against Joe and besides the horror film legends Bela Lugosi, Lon Chaney Jr. and John Carradine in The Chamber of Horrors Dr. Thosti.

In the 1960s, the focus of her work shifted to television. Between 1962 and 1963 she appeared in 22 episodes as Lou Mallory in the Western series West of Santa Fe. In 1964, she received the lead female role of Rebecca Boone in the based on the historical figure of Daniel Boone adventure series Daniel Boone, it posed to 1970 in a total of 118 episodes, and through which she gained notoriety with the U.S. television audience. After that, they played a few more years guest roles in television series like Petrocelli, before she retired after a final, small role in Sydney Pollack's The Electric Horseman into private life.

Blair died in September 2013 at their home at the consequences of getting breast cancer.
