Patrick Bauchau

Patrick Bauchau ( born December 6, 1938 in Brussels, Belgium) is a Belgian actor.

Life

He was born the son of Henry Bauchau, a writer, psychoanalyst and philosopher. His mother was a teacher and ran a publishing house.

He studied modern languages ​​at Oxford University and began his career in the French Nouvelle Vague cinema. Since the 1960s, he played in various U.S. American and European films and TV productions. In the 1970s he made a spectacle break. His most famous roles were Sydney Pretender in the series (1996 ), as the Vampire Lord Archon in the series Embraced - Clan of the Vampires (1996 ) and the James Bond villain Scarpine in View to a Kill (1985). In 2005 he made ​​a guest appearance on the medical drama House MD.

Bauchau is married to the French actress Mijanou Bardot, a sister of the actress Brigitte Bardot. His hobbies are gardening, carpentry, yoga and collecting oriental art. He speaks French, English, Spanish, Italian, German and a little Russian and Flemish.
