Patrick Baur

Patrick Baur ( May 3, 1965 in Radolfzell ) is a former German tennis player.

Life

Baur was a professional tennis player in 1986 and won it in Fürth his first Challenger tournament of the year. In 1988 he won in Bastad on the side of Udo Riglewski his first doubles title on the ATP World Tour with a final victory over Stefan Edberg and Nicklas Kroon. He also won the individual title at the Challenger tournament in Martinique, won with Udo Riglewski the double title of the Challenger tournament in Valkenswaard and stood together with Alexander Mronz in the final of the ATP tournament from Tel Aviv. The following year, he won the doubles title of Tel Aviv, this time with Jeremy Bates. This was his second and last doubles title on the ATP World Tour. Another individual titles on the Challenger Tour he won in the same year in Manchester. 1991 was his most successful year, he won two singles titles on the ATP World Tour.
