Patrick Bloche

Patrick Bloche ( born July 4, 1956 in Neuilly -sur -Seine ) is a French politician of the Socialist Party. He's since 1 June 1997, Member of the National Assembly.

Life

At age 16, he became a member of the Socialist Party. On 20 March 1989 he was first elected as a member of the Conseil Municipal of Paris in the 11th arrondissement. He was a close colleague of Georges Sarre, but dropped in 1991 from the collaboration, as opposed to this, he was a proponent of the commitment of France in the Gulf War. On 19 June 1995 Bloche was elected to the City Council ( Conseil général) of Paris.

On 1 June 1997 Bloche deputy of the National Assembly of France. With the support of Bertrand Delanoë was elected in January 2000 with over 61 % of the member votes to the post of first secretary of the PS Fédération de Paris, succeeding Jean -Marie Le Guen. 2008, he served as a socialist candidate in the municipal elections of Paris and was on March 29, district mayor of the 11th district. In 2009, he turned in the National Assembly against the Hadopi law. He is Deputy Chairman of the Parliament of the Study Group on the issue of Tibet.
