Patrick Division

The Patrick Division was one of the divisions in the North American professional hockey league NHL. The league was divided into two Conferences to 1993 ( Campbell Conference and Prince of Wales Conference), which in turn were divided into Divisions. One was the Patrick Division, which was established in 1974 as part of the Clarence Campbell Conference and 1981 moved to the Prince of Wales Conference.

With the expansion of the league in 1993 and the subsequent new formation of Leagues system, the division was detached from the Atlantic Division.

Named was the Patrick Division by Lester Patrick, one of the founders of the New York Rangers. The Philadelphia Flyers are eight championship titles at the end of the regular season in the master record of the Patrick Division.
