Patrick Geering

Patrick Geering (born 12 February 1990) is a Swiss ice hockey player standing since 2008 with the ZSC Lions in the National League A under contract.

Career

Patrick Geering began his career as a hockey player in the youth of the ZSC Lions. In the season 2006/ 07 he made his debut for the first team of the GCK Lions in the National League B. In the following season the defender stood for the GCK Lions and the Swiss U-20 ice hockey team in the National League B on the ice. In 2008 he returned to the ZSC Lions, for he 2008/ 09 he was in the season in the National League A in 47 games five assists. With the ZSC Lions of the links Sagittarius won the newly formed Champions Hockey League after he prevailed with his team in the final against the HK Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the Kontinental Hockey League.

Internationally

For Switzerland Geering took part in the U18 World Junior Championships in 2007 and 2008. In addition, he was in the squad for Switzerland at the U20 Junior B World Cup 2009 and the U20 World Youth Championship 2008.
