Patrick Huard

Patrick Huard ( born January 2, 1969 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian actor, director, producer and screenwriter.

Life and achievements

Huard occurs mainly in comedic roles in Canadian films. In the comedy film Les Boys (1997 ) and the two sequels he is seen with Rémy Girard. In the comedy J'en suis! (1997) he played the friend of the main character, played by Roy Dupuis. Directed by Denys Arcand, he worked in the film Stardom ( 2000). The crime movie Monica la mitraille (2004), he worked with Céline Bonnier, which portrayed the title role, together.

When Prix Jutra Patrick Huard was nominated in 2001 as Best Supporting Actor for the comedy La vie après l' amour and 2002 as Best Actor for the comedy Les Boys III, shared with Rémy Girard and Marc Messier. Nominations at the Genie Awards, he had in 2001 also 2007 for Best Supporting Actor in La vie après l' amour, and at the 27th Genie Awards for his starring role in the action comedy Bon Cop, Bad Cop, which he directed by Eric Canuel a policeman the side of Colm Feore represented.

Huard is divorced from the singer Lynda Lemay and has a daughter.
