Patrick Iannone

Patrick Nicholas Iannone ( born February 9, 1982 in Fruitvale, British Columbia ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey Italo- player who has a contract with HC Val Pusteria in the Italian Serie A1 since the summer of 2012.

Career

Patrick Iannone began his career in the Western Hockey League at Kootenay Ice, where he went on the ice two years. He then moved to the Tri -City Americans. In 2002, he signed a contract with the Regina Pats. In the 2003 / 04 season, Iannone played for AS Varese Hockey and thus the first year in the Italian Serie A1. After two years in Varese, he spent one year at Asiago. In the summer of 2006 he signed for HC Milano Vipers a contract for two years. After the dissolution of this team and after his first enlistment in the Italian national team in 2008, he moved to HC Val Pusteria before he stormed in the following year for the HC Valpellice. It was followed by the change within the League for SG Pontebba before he returned to HC Val Pusteria for the 2012/13 season.

Internationally

For Italy, Patrick Iannone took to the A World Championships 2008, 2010 and 2012 and the Division I World Championships 2009, 2011 and 2013 in part. In the 2013 World Cup, he rose with the Italian team not only once again in the top division on, but he was also awarded as the best striker, most valuable player and member of the All-Star teams in Group A of Division I.
