Patrick M'Boma

Henri Patrick M'Boma Dem ( * November 15, 1970 in Douala ) is a former Cameroonian football player.

Life

At the age of two years M'Boma moved with his family from their home in the French capital Douala to Paris. He was regarded more as a French talent in the subsequent period and moved in his youth from the first football stadium Stade de L' Est in the youth department of Paris St. Germain.

There they quickly noticed the strengths of center forward, which consist in a body-hugging style of play and a strong shot on goal with his left foot. At the age of 19 he stepped into the professional section of the club on, but first came to no use and was subsequently loaned in 1992 to the second division side LB Châteauroux.

In Châteauroux he got into his first season starting in the third league. On the direct re-emergence in the following season 1993/94 he had a large share in total with 17 goals and then returned to Paris.

There he still managed not the hoped-for breakthrough, he was loaned out to league rivals from Metz in only eight league matches and was used for the 1995/96 season. With the club, he won the League Cup and his first title launched by the end of the season his third attempt in Paris.
