Patrick Malahide

Patrick Malahide ( born March 24, 1945 in Berkshire, England ) is a British actor who has appeared in television and film productions of the United States or his home.

Career

Under his real name Patrick Gerald Duggan, the son of Irish immigrants Malahide came to the world after his father had fought in World War II in the British Army. After graduating from school, Malahide turned to acting, but came up with 31 years until relatively late in his first film role.

To date, Malahide had never played in the productions in which he participated, a supporting role, but seemed always in supporting side parts with. So you saw him, inter alia, in Hunting, Sahara - Adventures in the wilderness, and Billy Elliot. His most famous roles were those of Governor Ainslee in Cutthroat Island (1995), the corrupt CIA man Perkins in The Long Kiss Goodnight (1996) and the crafty Swiss banker Lachaise in the teaser of the James Bond thriller The World Is Not Enough (1999 ).

Meanwhile Malahide again acts mainly in television productions of his native England.

In the series Game of Thrones, he embodies Balon gray Freud. His participation was announced on August 24, 2011.
