Patrick Prosser
Patrick Prosser ( born September 8, 1952 in Glasgow ) is a computer scientist at the University of Glasgow. His main area of interest is the application of constraint programming and Constraintmethoden in other, related research.
His most significant scientific contribution is the invention of Conflict -based back -jumping, a method for reducing the search effort in Constraintproblemen by avoiding unnecessary backtracking. The relevant article has been cited 500 times according to Google Scholar scarce.
Other important scientific contributions are the identification of serious problems and techniques for solving complicated route problems.
The avid kite flyer has in addition also written a scientific article on tetrahedral ( tetrahedral ) dragon.
