Patrick Rambaud

Patrick Rambaud (* April 21, 1946 in Paris ) is a French writer.

Rambaud first worked as a film critic, co-founded the magazine Actuel, and wrote screenplays and plays and wrote a trilogy on the Napoleonic era.

In 1997 he received for his novel la Bataille (English: "The Battle "), the Prix Goncourt and the Grand Prix du Roman of the Académie française.

2000 appeared the second volume of the trilogy Il neigeait and in 2003, l' Absent.
