Patrick Schranner

Patrick Schranner (born 30 March 1991 in Ingolstadt ) is a German racing driver.

Career

Schranner began his motorsport career in karting in 2000, where he was active until 2008. Among other things, he won the 2007 KF2 ADAC Kart Masters and was runner-up in the German Challenger Kart Championship. 2009 saw Schranner into formula racing and entered for RHC Motorsport in the ADAC Formula Masters. He was sponsored by the ADAC Stiftung Sport. 2010 remained Schranner at RHC Motorsport and denied his second season in the ADAC Formula Masters. He won five races and finished with 255 points to 315 runners behind Richie Stanaway, who had dominated the season.

2011 Schranner went first in the German Formula 3 Cup for HS Engineering at the start. After the fourth event he lost his cockpit, as he had run into problems with the budget. At the end of the season, he finished with three fifth places as the eleventh best results overall.

Schranner has completed training for automotive mechatronics.
