Patrick van Aanholt
Patrick van Aanholt ( born August 29, 1990 in 's- Hertogenbosch ) is a Dutch footballer who is currently at Chelsea in the English Premier League under contract. He currently plays on loan at SBV Vitesse Arnhem.
Career
Van Aanholt plays in the position of left-back. In 2008, he was with the youth team of FC Chelsea in the final of the FA Youth Cup, which was lost after return game with 2:4 against Manchester City. He is also a current U-21 national team of the Netherlands and we were already in the U- 19 and U -20 selections of his country for use.
Van Aanholt has been upgraded to the 2009/10 season from the youth of Chelsea in the professional squad. In order to gain more match practice he was awarded before the start of the season for half a year to the second division club Coventry City, for whom he made his professional debut in the 2-1 home win against Ipswich Town on 9 August 2009. Until his return to Chelsea in December, he went to 20 inserts for Coventry, where he stood 19 times in the starting lineup.
On 29 January 2010, Chelsea gave it again to a second division, this time to Newcastle United for a month, since their left-back Jose Enrique -budgetary injured. Its seven games for the Magpies, he completed all of them from the beginning.
His first professional game for Chelsea after he came previously in 29 games in the reserve team for use, he completed on 24 March 2010 when he came on as a substitute in the 5-0 away win at Portsmouth after 71 minutes for Yuri Shirkov. In January 2011, van Aanholt was given until the end of the 2010/11 season on loan to Leicester City. On 24 May 2011 van Aanholt extended his contract at Chelsea until June 30, 2015., But was loaned out to league rivals Wigan Athletic on 31 August 2011 until the end of the first round. Upon his return in January 2012 he belonged to the squad of the second team of Chelsea.
During the winter break of 2011/12 van Aanholt was until end of season loaned to Vitesse Arnhem. In the summer of 2012, lending to the next 2012/13 season has been extended. In the summer of 2013 for the 2013/14 season.
