Patrik Berglund

Patrik Berglund ( born June 2, 1988 in Västerås) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player standing since 2008 with the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League contract.

Career

Patrik Berglund began his career as a hockey player in his hometown in the young field of VIK Västerås HK, for the first team, he was active in the subprime HockeyAllsvenskan 2005-2008. During this period, the attacker in the NHL Entry Draft, was selected in 2006 in the first round than a total of 25 players from the St. Louis Blues. For St. Louis, he scored in the 2008/09 season, his rookie year, in 80 games 21 goals and gave 26 templates. Because of its benefits, the Swede was appointed to the NHL All- Rookie Team.

Internationally

For Sweden, Berglund participated in the Ice Hockey World Championship U18 Juniors U20 - 2006 and the Junior World Championships in 2007 and 2008. In addition, he was in the squad of Sweden to the World Cup 2009.
