Patrik Gedeon

Patrik Gedeon ( born July 19, 1975 in Chomutov ) is a Czech football player.

Club career

Patrik Gedeon played in his youth for TJ VTZ Chomutov. In 1994 he moved for half a year to VTJ Karlovy Vary to do his military service there and then returned to Chomutov.

In 1995, the midfielder has been committed by the then second division Chmel Blšany, which he helped to promotion to the 1st League in 1998. In Blšany Gedeon was one of the performers. In the 2000 /01 season he scored seven goals in 28 games, and he was committed for 12 million crowns from Slavia Prague. Also there was Gedeon of the best players and has been used on 20 November 2003 for the first time in the Czech national team.

In the 2003 /04 season, he retired to a torn ACL and came to just six inserts. As a result, he was not able to his old form and moved to FC Vaduz in the Challenge League. In summer 2006, Gedeon was committed on loan from first division club Wisła Płock Poland. In September 2007 he dissolved his contract and joined his former club Chmel Blšany to playing now in its third Czech league. On 15 February 2008 Gideon moved to FK Siad Most in the Gambrinus Liga. In summer 2008, Gedeon was close to a switch to FK Viktoria Zizkov, but returned to second division club FK Dukla Prague. In Dukla the veteran is one of the guiding players, in two years he came to 51 inserts, where he managed a goal.

National

Patrik Gedeon played three friendly matches for the Czech national team: on 20 November 2002 in a 3-3 draw against Sweden in Teplice, on 12 February 2003 in a 2-0 against France in Paris on 30 April 2003 in a 4-0 against Turkey in Teplice.
