Patrimonio Nacional

The Patrimonio Nacional is a Spanish authority, which would be responsible for managing the objects owned by the state, which are used by the King and the Royal Family and for state ceremonies. The Authority manages palaces, gardens, monasteries and churches and organizes them in exhibitions and concerts. It also oversees the publication program of the royal facilities and collections. The Patrimonio Nacional also publishes the magazine Real sitios.

The Board of Directors of the Authority shall be according to the law 23/1982 of ten members and a chairman and a manager appointed by the king, according to the proposal of the Prime Minister. The President is currently Nicolás Martínez- Fresno y Pavía held.
