Patty Griffin

Patty Griffin (born Patricia Jean Griffin, born March 16, 1964 in Old Town ( Maine) ) is an American singer -songwriter and Grammy winner. Griffin was known especially for the indigenous style of their songs and their relationship with musicians such as Emmylou Harris, Ellis Paul, and the Dixie Chicks that have occurred to her or have played their songs, making known these to a wider audience in the pop and country music were. Griffin also earned the folk in America a wide fan base. It also received the highest award of the Americana Music Association as "Artist of the Year" (artist of the year) in 2007 and the award for best album for Children Running Through. In 2010 she took with former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant on an album ( Band Of Joy) and went on tour with him.
