Pau FC

The Pau Football Club is a French football club based in Pau, capital of southwest the Pyrénées -Atlantiques.

It was founded in 1904 as Bleuets de Notre -Dame de Pau and played until 1959 in Catholic Football Federation ( see football in France # early years). Then the football department was divided from the club from FC Pau joined as the French federation FFF and, in 1995, to its present name. The club colors are yellow and blue; league team plays at the Stade du Hameau, which has a capacity of 13,970 seats.

Club president is Joel Lopez; the first team is currently coached by Jean -Luc Girard. (August 2007)

League membership

Pau is one of the few clubs in France's three professional leagues that have never had professional status. Also in Division 1 ( in Ligue 1 since 2002 renamed ) Pau was not yet represented. In the 2013/14 season, he enters the fourth division CFA, the highest amateur league in the country, at.
