Paul Daimler

Paul Daimler (* September 13, 1869 in Karlsruhe, † December 15, 1945 in Berlin) was a German engineer and oldest of the five children of Gottlieb Daimler.

After studying at the Technical University in Stuttgart, he worked in his father's company in Cannstatt. On November 10, 1885, he undertook the " riding car " his father, the world's first motorcycle, a trip from Cannstatt to Untertürkheim.

1902 Paul Daimler became the general partners of Austro-Daimler and took over the technical management. In 1903 he constructed the tank cars Austro-Daimler. From 1907 to 1922 he was Technical Director of Daimler -Motoren-Gesellschaft Untertürkheim, Sindelfingen and Berlin -Marie Felde.
