Paul Ehrenberg

Paul Ehrenberg (* 1876 or 1878 in Dresden, † 14 October 1949 in the courtyard) was a German painter. He was the brother of Carl Ehrenberg and half-brother of Hilde thistle.

Ehrenberg was a student of Heinrich von reins. He was a member of the Luitpold- group and the Munich Artists' Association. His work, which has included numerous impressionistic portraits, still life, landscape and Tierbildnisse, has been shown in exhibitions in Munich. He married the painter Lilly devil.

Ehrenberg also was an excellent violinist.

From 1899 to 1904, he had an intense friendship with Thomas Mann. This friendship with her unfulfilled homoeroticism employed Thomas Mann to old age, in whose diary Ehrenberg is referred to as the " central heart experience of my 25 years ." He is the model of Rudi Schwerdtfeger in the novel Doctor Faustus.
